Apple's iPhone X queue is insane

Sure, the iPhone X costs quite a bit. But that did not stop the crowd from queuing for almost two days to be the first few to get it. Meanwhile, Oppo is drawing some attention from the iPhone X launch with its own Oppo R11s. As is Razer, which just announced its powerful Razer Phone. LG is also in the game for smartphone dominance, and it'll have the LG V30+ ready by December.

tech360.tv news roundup - Week 2 October

By: Eve Goh

There's no lack of cinemas in Singapore. But one that has laser projection? That's something new. But if you're catching an Uber to watch a show at the new Golden Village cineplex, don't make the driver wait too long, else you'll have to pay a penalty. Such irony, that drivers aren't penalised for making passengers wait. Speaking of irony, guess who's making money from the upcoming Apple iPhone X? Samsung, which will stand to earn US$110 per iPhone X sold! The bigger question is - will the iPhone X be more popular or Google's upcoming Pixel 2 XL, which is finally available in more countries.

Good news! Sony's latest Xperia XZ1 smartphones with 3D scanning are coming soon on 7 Oct! On the social media front, Twitter is letting you (and President Trump) share more with an increase character limit. But there are some bad news - WhatsApp is banned in China. Again. It could be temporary, or fod good. So if you're thinking of splashing out some cash to make yourself feel good, either by spending nearly half a million dollars on a speaker system or attend GameStart happening on 14 and 15 October!
