10 Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals, Including S$5K Off A TV!

If you missed out on the midnight deals for Black Friday, don’t fret. Most retailers nowadays are extending their promotions all the way till the following Monday, also known as Cyber Monday, since it started out as an online-only sales event in the US.

Anyway, let’s get on with it. Here are 10 deals that you should definitely check out over this weekend!



1. Sony WH-1000XM4

We did a review of the new WH-1000XM4 headphones earlier this year, but suffice it to say, Sony is still retaining its crown as the king of ANC headphones.


T K Foto is running a promotion for these headphones, with S$100 off if you purchase at their retail outlet at Funan. However, if you want to purchase it digitally, it’s also possible to get the full S$100 off, albeit with more steps. On Lazada and Shopee, the headphones are already discounted by S$70. Don’t forget to collect the S$30 voucher off S$400 spend and tada, you get your S$100 discount to bring the price down to S$449!



2. Nintendo Switch Gen 2

The Nintendo Switch is a fantastic portable console, and Amazon.sg is running some great discounts on it for Black Friday! The blue-red and gray variants are going for just S$425, while the special Animal Crossing edition is also discounted and priced at just S$459.


With the PS5 and Xbox Series X and Series S all being out of stock, this might be the best choice if you’re looking for a new console to while away your time on.



3. Sharp AQUOS 4TC70BK1X 70″ 4K UHD HDR Android TV

Let’s cut to the chase. Harvey Norman is offering a whopping S$5,000 discount on this 70-inch Sharp TV. That’s absolutely insane savings when you consider the fact that you’ll be getting a 70-inch 4K TV with Chromecast built-in at just S$2,899.

4. Huawei Mate 30 Pro

The Mate 30 Pro might no longer be the newest flagship from Huawei, but it’s still a pretty powerful phone, and with a S$500 discount over this weekend, the phone will be priced at just S$798. That’s on par with some midrange phones!

The deal can be found on Huawei’s official store on Shopee or Lazada.



5. Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Pro

Dyson vacuums are pricey, but for good reason. They’re one of the best-performing vacuums on the market, and for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Dyson is offering a S$251 discount on the Cyclone V10 Absolute Pro at their website, dropping the price down to just S$648.


If you’ve been on the fence about splurging on a Dyson vacuum, now might be the best time to save yourself some money!


6. Sony A7RIII Body

Photographers and videographers out there will know how great the Sony A7RIII camera is, and even though the A7RIV is out, the A7RIII is still a very decent camera. Alan Photo is running a great deal on the body at S$3,199, but purchases will be bundled with two free UHS-II 64GB SD cards, two additional NP-FZ100 batteries, a Sony camera bag as well as a leather neck strap.


The A7RIII can be purchased on Alan Photo’s website or at their retail outlet in Funan.


7. Philips Airfryer XXL

Air fryers are excellent additions to a kitchen, with less cleanup needed than a deep fryer and healthier food thanks to less oil needed. The Philips Airfryer XXL has a capacity of 1.4L, and is able to even fit in an entire chicken if so desired. It’s definitely a good option if you’re cooking for a family.


Priced at S$369, purchases will even come with an S$80 grocery voucher, so start planning out your meals! The Philips Airfryer XXL is available on the COURTS website.



8. Fitbit Charge 4

Fitbit is well-known for their fitness trackers, and with all the feasting coming up soon for Christmas, we could all do with burning some extra calories in preparation! With a S$50 discount on the Fitbit Charge 4 that we reviewed previously, fitness enthusiasts and even people who just want to keep track of their health metrics like step count and sleep tracking will be able to get the tracker for an affordable S$198.


The Fitbit Charge 4 is available on Fitbit’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee.



9. Surface Pro X 16GB RAM (512GB)

With all the work from home arrangements in place, you might notice that your old laptop isn’t running as well as you would like. Well, if you’re looking to get a new laptop, Microsoft is offering a S$647 discount on their Surface Pro X laptop, the model that’s running on 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.


That brings the price down to just S$1,941, which is a pretty good deal for a 2-in-1 laptop! The deal can be found on Microsoft’s website.



10. S$200 eCapitaVouchers


Alright, so this isn’t really a discount, but in some ways, it is. As part of Capitaland’s Black Ace promotion, if a shopper who’s a CapitaStar member spends S$1,000 in a single receipt from a store, they’ll be able to redeem S$200 eCapitaVouchers, limited to the first 100 redemptions daily.


Out of those, the top spender will earn a S$1,000 shopping spree at Funan, with the person notified via email by 31 December 2020. So while this might not be a straight-up discount as such, you might find it a good deal if you’re planning to get household appliances or other big-ticket items that cost over S$1,000!
