Much has been said—and debated—about the new Huawei Mate 30 series. If you are holding onto a Huawei Mate 30 Pro, you may already know that the phone comes preinstalled with Huawei’s very own AppGallery store. Similar to Google Play Store, the HUAWEI AppGallery will be the predominant platform for downloading Android apps.
Here are the five apps you might find interesting to help you get started.
1. Health App
The first to go is the Huawei Health App, where you can monitor and track your health status on. You can pair your Watch GT2 with the app and you can begin to track your daily steps, monitor your heart rate and even the quality of your sleep.
2. Eyewear App
This may be new to many, as it has just been developed for the brand new Gentle Monster – Huawei Eyewear. Using the app, you can pair the glasses to the EYEWEAR app and you can configure the settings and control the glasses via the app. Once connected, you can play quality audio from the glasses and even receive calls directly via the eyewear.
3. AI Life App
With the AI Life app, you can pair the FreeBuds 3 and use the app to configure your wireless earbuds. You can adjust the Active Noise Cancellation level and customise the double tap functions.
4. Wireless Projection
You can find this interesting function on your phone, by scrolling down the main screen. With the Wireless Projection, you can seamlessly connects to any other Android enabled screens, without the use of any cables or set ups.
5. Huawei Mobile Services (HMS)
Lastly, you can find HMS on your phone extremely helpful to help you gain access to various services. Huawei Mate 30 Pro is the first to have this software that runs on open-source version of Android. It helps you to customise secured logins to apps like Health or Cloud and allow configuration on advanced features like the Huawei ID and payments.
And here are the 5 apps on Huawei Mate 30 Pro that you may find interesting to explore. With HMS being the new player in the market, there’s a lot of anticipation on what more it can offer, especially with the upcoming new devices Huawei will be launching. There are currently over 1.07 million developers globally registered as Huawei Developers, and over 50,000 apps have already been integrated into HMS. Huawei has also announced to invest and bring in more local and global apps into its AppGallery store.
