Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 To Arrive in Malaysia; Retail at RM829

A month after unveiling its latest pair of smartwatches, Amazfit has announced that the GT4 4 and GTS 4 will officially be coming to Malaysia on 7 October. The two wearables are pretty similar but mainly differ in their display and battery life.

The GTR 4 is fitted with a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466x466 resolution and two physical buttons on the side that includes a crown. As for the GTS 4, the watch sports a 1.75-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a 390x450 resolution and a single navigational crown.


The Amazfit wearables support 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth calling via Bluetooth 5.0, and have 2.3GB of storage for offline music playback. They also feature built-in GPS and have 5 ATM water resistance.

As with most smartwatches, they come with standard health and fitness features, including sensors to monitor your heart rate, blood oxygen saturation levels, and sleep. Both support tracking of more than 150 sports, automatically detecting certain workouts such as running and cycling.


Powering the GTR 4 and GTS 4 are 475mAh and 300mAh batteries respectively, giving them 14 days and eight days of battery life with typical usage. On clock mode, which saves on battery, the GTR 4 can last up to 50 days whereas the GTS 4, with its smaller capacity, can only go on for 30 days before needing a recharge.

Both the Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 will be available on the brand's Shopee page starting on 7 October. The smartwatches retail for RM829 each, but until 10 September, they will be on sale for RM799.
