Apple Intelligence Expands to Singapore
You can now use Apple Intelligence features on your Apple devices.

Today, Apple announced its personal intelligence system expands to more countries in the world with features available in more languages, including localised English for Singapore and India.
The expansion enables you to access a host of nifty Apple Intelligence features on the latest versions of iOS, iPadOS and macOS, including the ability to summarise text, remove distracting objects from images and generate your own emojis, among so many others.
Here are some of the top features you can now access:
Writing Tools
Writing Tools is a feature that enables you to refine your language by having Apple Intelligence rewrite, proofread, or summarise your text in Mail, Messages, Notes, Pages and even third-party apps.
You also have the option to choose from different versions of what the system has written and adjust the tone to suit the task at hand.
In addition to these, you can specify the change you’d like to make using the Describe Your Change option. This option gives you more flexibility and control on how you’d like your writing to turn out. For example, you can add more dynamic action words to your resume or rewrite your dinner party invitation in the form of a poem.
Smarter Photos App

Apple Intelligence expands the capabilities of the Photos app. You can now search for just about anything by simply describing what you’re looking for. And this not only works on photos but videos as well. You can, for instance, go straight to a specific segment of the video by describing what happens in it.
Search also offers smart completion suggestions to help you quickly complete a search.
Meanwhile, if an unwanted object or person ends up in the frame of your photo, you can use the Clean Up tool to remove them while staying true to the moment as you intended to capture it.
Image Playground

If you can’t capture the image you want in a photo, why not generate it yourself? Image Playground lets you do just that. You can use it to create fun images with concepts like themes, costumes, accessories and places. You can also add your own text descriptions to make your image more unique. You can even create images in the likeness of a family member or friend using photos from their photo library.
And Image Playground can render your images in distinct styles like Animation, Illustration or Sketch.
Create Genmoji
You can also generate your own Genmojis.
By simply typing a description into the emoji keyboard, a Genmoji will appear, including multiple versions you can choose from. With images from your photo library, you can take Genmoji even further by creating one that is inspired by a friend or family member. You can then customise it further by adding accessories, like a hat or sunglasses.
And just like emoji, Genmoji can be added inline to Messages, or shared as a sticker or reaction in a Tapback.
Image Wand in Notes

Even the Notes app is getting an upgrade. With Image Wand in the tool palette, you can quickly create images in your note using the written or visual context already captured within the note.
Additionally, you can use Image Wand to transform a rough sketch into a polished image by simply circling it. You can even circle empty space within a note, and the system will gather context from the surrounding area to create a relevant image that complements the note and makes it more visual.
Prioritise and Stay Focused
Apple Intelligence will help sort messages in your inbox. Priority Messages is a new section at the top of your inbox in Mail and shows only the most urgent emails, like same day invitations or a boarding pass. You can also hit Smart Reply to receive appropriate suggestions for a quick response to messages you receive.
What’s more, you can also have the system summarise your notifications for you. Priority Notifications help you stay on top of time-sensitive communications by prioritising notifications that may require their attention right away. A new Focus, Reduce Interruptions, surfaces only the notifications that might need immediate attention.
One Click with Visual Intelligence
You can also learn about objects and places using Visual Intelligence. This feature can create a calendar event from details on a poster or flyer, translate text between languages, identify plants and animals and more. And you can access it by simply pressing and holding the Camera Control button on iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, or by customising the Control Centre, Lock Screen controls, or the Action button on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16e.
Other key Apple Intelligence features include a more natural and conversational Siri, ChatGPT integration and enhanced privacy.
