The company is on the lookout for senior algorithm engineers, senior structural engineers, and senior simulation engineers to join the team. The focus of the research will be on humanoid robots and bipedal robots, with a particular interest in attracting 2025 master’s and Ph.D. graduates from universities worldwide.


BYD has already made significant strides in the field of robotics, having developed a range of products including industrial robots, collaborative robots, mobile robots, and humanoid robots. This move comes on the heels of Chairman Wang Chuanfu's announcement during BYD’s 30th-anniversary celebration event. He revealed plans for a substantial RMB 100 billion (US$13.73 billion) investment to merge artificial intelligence with automobiles and enhance vehicle intelligence.
