Initially, BYD plans to establish 15 showrooms across the country in collaboration with six dealers, including DT Networks and China's Harmony Automobile. Chief Scientist Lian Yubo of BYD anticipates a 40% increase in sales this year, aiming to reach 4.25 million units.
In comparison, Hyundai has outlined a modest target of a 0.6% rise in annual global sales to 4.24 million units. Meanwhile, Hyundai's affiliate Kia is looking to sell 3.2 million units by 2024, according to Reuters
