Chinese Startup Sharge Launches AI Glasses Ahead of Tech Giants

The glasses, weighing just 50 grams, boast impressive features such as a 16-megapixel camera from Sony, Hi-Fi sound quality, and a Unisoc W517 chipset.
These innovative glasses support collaborations with more than 10 top domestic language model providers, including Cloudwalk Technology, iFlytek Spark, Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen, Kimi, and Zhipu AI. Priced at RMB 999 (US$137), the AI Snap Glasses A1 are positioned as an affordable AI-powered accessory.
Sharge Technology, established in 2020 by former Gree and Meizu executive Zhang Bo, initially focused on charging and storage products before successfully expanding into international markets. With the launch of the AI Snap Glasses A1, the company aims to ship 500,000 units annually, targeting revenue of over RMB 600 million (US$82 million) to break even.
