The robot's artificial muscles, known as Myofibers, contract using water pressure, while its polymer skeleton mimics the human bone structure with 206 bone analogues. According to Clone Robotics, the revolutionary artificial muscle technology of Clone Alpha allows the robot to generate a kilogram of force from just three grams of material, contracting by 30% in under 50 milliseconds. The upper body alone contains 164 points of articulation, with 26 degrees of freedom in each hand, wrist, and elbow combination.
