These directors are set to create nine short films, each approximately three minutes long, using Kuaishou's Kling model. The Kling model, a text-to-video tool provided by the company for public use, is at the heart of this innovative campaign.


The initiative aims to delve into the concept of "co-creation" between humans and artificial intelligence within the film and television sector. Kuaishou anticipates that this collaboration will maximise the Kling model's capability to replicate real-world scenarios. Notably, Jia Zhangke, the acclaimed director renowned for his work on globally acclaimed films like "Ash is Purest White," is one of the nine directors partnering with Kuaishou. This collaboration marks his debut in creating AI-generated video clips.
