OnePlus is continuing their hot streak with the new OnePlus 8T phone that has just been announced.

The OnePlus 8T builds on the excellent foundation of the OnePlus 8 series phones and packs in even more great features. One of the bigger additions is the Warp Charge 65 technology that’s touted to charge the phone from 1-100% in 39 minutes with 65W charging. The phone also has a 4,500mAh battery inside that should offer more than a day of battery life with moderate usage.

The screen will still offer the same ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate on the QHD+ AMOLED display, with a peak brightness of up to 1,100 nits, which means the content on the screen will be clearly visible even under bright sunlight. It’s also the first flat 120Hz OLED panel in the world to get an A+ rating from DisplayMate, and it will support HDR10+.

Using the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chip, the OnePlus 8T is both 5G enabled and supports Wi-Fi 6 networks for faster speed when browsing the web.

OnePlus has also added in an additional lens at the rear to form a quad-camera array with a 48MP main lens that has optical image stabilisation, 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP macro lens and 2MP monochrome lens.

The OnePlus 8T will come in Aquamarine Green or Lunar Silver, with the Aquamarine Green variant coming with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at S$899. The Lunar Silver model will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and will be priced at S$1,099.

The phone will be available for preorder exclusively through Lazada from 17 to 23 October and will be available islandwide from 24 October through Lazada and Shopee.

OnePlus has also launched the new OnePlus Buds Z, their new true wireless earbuds. With dynamic stereo sound powered by Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0 and IP55 rating, these earbuds definitely seem to be a very affordable option for people on a budget, coming in at just S$99.

OnePlus also claims the earbuds will last for 20 hours on a full charge, with a 10-minute charge providing three hours of use. That’s definitely a good sign, and we’re excited for these.

We’ll have to wait a while for these earbuds though, as they’ll only be coming to Singapore in November.

OnePlus has also launched a new colourway for their budget phone, the OnePlus Nord, in Gray Ash. It’s still unknown if this will be coming to Singapore.
