PRISM+ Launches Most Affordable 4K TVs With 55″ Model Going at S$599

Updated: Aug 19, 2021

PRISM+ has made a name for themselves as a Singaporean company offering excellent gaming monitors and monitor arms at extremely affordable prices, and now they’ve taken that expertise and launched their new E-series smart television range.

The televisions come in three sizes – 55″ (S$599), 43″ (S$459) and 32″ (S$239). The 55″ and 42″ models support 4K while the 32″ is an HD television. There’s an upcoming 65″ model which is expected to be released later in 2020.

The 55-inch model is selling for S$599, and supports HDR10 and uses an in-plane switching (IPS) display from LG for excellent colour reproduction and contrast across different viewing angles. The display tops out at 400 nits of brightness which makes for comfortable viewing at home under most lighting conditions.

There’s also Dolby Audio built-in and the televisions support both 4K content on Netflix and YouTube.

The televisions have a 6ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time, which makes it decent for gaming. Hardcore gamers will still be better off with a dedicated gaming monitor with 1ms GTG response time, but if you’re looking for a big screen that can double up for both normal viewing and gaming, this will be decent.

The televisions will be available exclusively on PRISM+’s website in December 2019, and are currently on pre-order at the PRISM+ booth at the Tech Show 2019 from 14-17 November 2019.

More information and online pre-ordering for the 55-inch, 43-inch and 32-inch models are available at PRISM+’s website.
