Razer’s Anzu Smart Glasses Are Made for Everyone

Razer’s first-ever smart glasses are now available for purchase online.

The gaming peripheral company has launched the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses, its first eye product. The Razer Anzu combines eye care with style, having replaceable lenses for protecting your eyes while working at home or going outdoors as well as convenient hands-free communication.

John Moore, Razer’s Head of Sales and Marketing, stated that Razer’s Anzu Smart Glasses is entering the market at a time when people are working from home – “where eye protection, hands-free communication and smart features are now in high demand.”

The Razer Anzu comes with pre-installed 35% blue light filtering lenses to protect your eyes from screen glare to reduce digital eyestrain. You can swap these blue light filtering lenses out for polarised lenses to shield your eyes from 99% of UV rays when you’re heading out.

Razer has also partnered with Lensabl, a one-stop-shop for vision care products online, which is extending a 15% off prescription lenses for customers who want to use them with the Razer Anzu.

The Razer Anzu comes with various features that take care of your necessities for both working and playing. Its customised Bluetooth 5.1 connection delivers smooth and stutter-free audio without any disruptions from audio delay or skipping thanks to its 60ms latency. The built-in omnidirectional mic and speakers provide a convenient way to take calls hands-free.

The Razer Anzu has at least five hours worth of battery charge when fully charged, allowing you to work or play without worrying too much about the charge level. When folded and not in use, it will automatically shut down and conserve power to achieve almost two weeks of standby power.

The Razer Anzu comes with a touch interface on the side of the arm that controls music playback, manage video conference calls as well as activate your smartphone’s voice assistant. There’s also an app that allows you to make adjustments to the smart glasses’ EQ, display its charge level and update its firmware among other utilities.

The Razer Anzu features a water-resistant IPX4 design, so you won’t need to worry about rain, sweat or unfortunate spills breaking it. It is lightweight, weighing only 48g at most and it also comes in different sizes and styles, from rectangular frame designs to round ones.
