Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 2 Among Leaked Products To Be Announced At Upcoming Event

Smartphone leaker Evan Blass might have just spoiled the 2021 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event by tweeting several GIFs featuring two Galaxy foldables, a Galaxy FE phone, two Galaxy Watches and a set of Galaxy Buds that he hinted would be unveiled at the event scheduled this 11 August.



One of the upcoming foldables is the Z Fold 3. In earlier leaks, Blass shared some specs of the Z Fold 3, including improved rear cameras as well as support for a “Fold Edition” version of the S Pen. Recently, he uploaded different renders of the gadget in black, white and green.



On the other hand, the Z Flip 3 is expected to be available in black, gold, purple and dark green. This design boasts an enlarged exterior screen compared to the Z Flip 2. The screen can be used when the phone is folded.


Blass also gave Samsung fans a sneak peek of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in black, white, purple and gold.



In a now-deleted report published last June, the Korean media outfit ETNews said that the phone’s production was stopped due to a lack of semiconductors and Qualcomm processors being diverted to foldables.


Samsung immediately clarified the claims.


“While we cannot discuss details of the unreleased product, nothing has been determined regarding the alleged production suspension,” read the company’s statement to Bloomberg on 13 June 2021.



Apart from the phones, Blass surprised tech enthusiasts with a look at two unannounced Samsung watches. One appears to be the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and the other resembles unverified accounts of the Galaxy Watch Active 4.


GIFs of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in the colours black, white and grey show a rotating bezel and two buttons on the right side of the wearable. The watch is expected to run on Samsung and Google’s unified smartwatch platform.



Meanwhile, Blass revealed the rumoured Watch Active 4 in black, white, grey, dark green and peach. Based on a report from GizNext, the gadget will come in two sizes: 44mm and 40mm.

Blass similarly posted renders of what seems to be the new Galaxy Buds 2 in white, dark green and purple. Another leaker, Ice Universe, shared that the earbuds will also come with active noise cancellation.


While these are just rumours, it’s definitely making us excited for the next Unpacked event!
