Apple One subscription now available in Singapore

If you’re using Apple devices, you’ll definitely want to check out the new Apple One subscription that has just been made available in Singapore.

Priced at S$16.95 for the individual plan, subscribers will get access to Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Music and 50GB of iCloud storage.

There’s also a family plan at S$22.95 that also includes Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Music and 200GB of iCloud storage.

With savings of over S$8 a month for the individual plan and over S$9 a month for the family plan, Apple One seems to be a great option for families who are deeply integrated in the Apple ecosystem.

LG rolls out Puricare wearable air purifier in key regions

LG’s Puricare wearable air purifier mask is finally starting to roll out globally, with launches in key regions like Asia and the Middle East first.

Utilising two HEPA filters, LG claims up to 99.95% of harmful airborne particulates will be able to be removed from the air. There are also three-speed DUAL Fans and a Respiratory Sensor that can detect the cycle and volume of the wearer’s breathing and adjust the fans to help the user breathe easier with the mask on.

The built-in rechargeable battery will provide up to eight hours of use on the low setting, and up to two hours on the highest setting. The air purifier mask also comes with a case that has LG’s UVnano UV-C LED light sanitising system built-in, and the case will be able to remove moisture from the mask’s internal components as well as send a notification to the user’s phone when filters require replacing.

There’s still no notice on availability in Singapore, but we’re hopeful the Puricare air purifier mask will reach our shores soon.

WhatsApp introduces disappearing messages

WhatsApp will start to roll out a new feature similar to what Snapchat and Telegram has, messages that will disappear. Unlike the other two platforms though, WhatsApp’s disappearing messages will only vanish after seven days.

WhatsApp says their goal is to “make conversations on WhatsApp feel as close to in-person as possible”, and either party in a chat can turn the feature on. Group chat admins can turn the feature on as well.

Linksys launches first 5G and Wi-Fi 6 mobile hotspot in Korea and Hong Kong

Belkin’s connected home division, Linksys, has launched the first 5G and Wi-Fi 6 mobile hotspot device in Korea with the largest Korean mobile carrier Korea Telecom (KT), and in Hong Kong with CSL. The device will be able to support up to 16 devices, with a 4,000mAh battery.

Gautam Sheoran, Senior Director, Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc said: “Together, 5G and Wi-Fi 6 can better support the remote workforce and bolster overall network connectivity with speed, reliability and flexibility to transform how the world connects.”
