Samsung Unveils Galaxy S25 Ultra Offers, Pre-Orders, and Release Dates

Samsung has officially announced that the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event is set to take place later this month. The event is anticipated to showcase the second generation of Galaxy AI technology alongside a variety of connected accessories. However, all eyes are on the highly anticipated new releases - the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra.

For tech enthusiasts eager to get their hands on the latest handsets, including the premium Galaxy S25 Ultra, there are key dates to mark in the calendar to secure the device promptly and at a competitive price.


Samsung has kickstarted the process for interested consumers by launching a program where users can register their interest in the Galaxy AI and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. As an incentive, the company is offering a $50 voucher for "additional eligible products" and has sent out a questionnaire with a $50 offer to registered Samsung users.

In an update on Monday, January 13, 2025, Samsung has revealed details of the reservation process available to US consumers. Alongside the $50 credit towards the Galaxy S25 series, the company has announced enhanced trade-in values, potentially reaching up to $900. Notably, the highest offers will be for last year's flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra, while older or non-Samsung devices will receive lower trade-in values.


Additionally, Samsung is offering a $300 credit for "qualifying products," although the specific products are yet to be disclosed. It is expected that new peripherals, such as a Galaxy Wear smartwatch, Galaxy Buds earbuds, and possibly the Galaxy Ring, will be included. Moreover, one lucky individual making a reservation stands a chance to win a $5,000 Samsung credit voucher.


As for pre-orders of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, historically, Samsung has opened pre-orders at the conclusion of Galaxy Unpacked events featuring phone launches. With the event scheduled to commence on January 22 at 1300 Eastern / 1000 Pacific, pre-orders are likely to go live shortly after. However, there are speculations that pre-orders might be delayed to January 24, with the pre-order window expected to close on February 4.


The pre-order phase is crucial as Samsung typically offers exclusive deals during this period, such as unique color options, storage upgrades, and attractive trade-in offers for various smartphones.


Following the registration of interest, the Galaxy Unpacked event, and the pre-order placement, deliveries of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are set to align with its retail availability. The anticipated release date is Friday, February 7, with pre-order customers expected to receive their devices on this day.
