Vivo to Focus on Mixed Reality and Humanoid Robots, Reveals Executive VP

Vivo's executive vice president, Hu Baishan, has revealed the company's future focus on investments in mixed reality (MR) and humanoid robots.

Hu shared that Vivo is set to unveil a prototype product in the MR field by September or October, with a dedicated MR team already in place. However, Hu also highlighted that the journey to create an ideal robot for the market may extend beyond 10 to 15 years. Vivo's strategy entails prioritising technological advancements over the next few years and introducing products that cater to specific needs as they emerge, Hu explained.
