The company revealed that its extended-range hybrid technology will enable a vehicle to travel an impressive 1,400 kilometers (870 miles) on a full tank and charge.

Xpeng's upcoming extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) is designed to have an EV-only range of 430 km, as highlighted by CEO He Xiaopeng during a press event held in Guangzhou, the company's headquarters city.

Moreover, Xpeng, which has the backing of Volkswagen, introduced its first proprietary artificial intelligence chipset named Turing. This cutting-edge chipset is said to have processing capabilities that can rival three of NVIDIA's DRIVE Orin processors combined. Xpeng claims that the Turing chipset will empower Xpeng vehicles to accommodate a large AI model with a staggering 30 billion parameters.
